We all appreciate Scouts love activities; especially those in the outdoors. Action, adventure challenge; it all comes part of being a Scout.
The Scouts are the UK’s biggest mixed youth organisation. They offer 6 to 25-year-olds fun and unique experiences so that everyone associated makes a positive impact in our collective local communities. Since Baden Powell conceived the idea, Scouts helps children and young adults reach their full potential. Scouts develop skills including teamwork, time management, leadership, initiative, planning, communication, self-motivation, cultural awareness and commitment.
To achieve all their aims, Scout groups across the UK need equipment and lots of it. Whilst there is fun in making fires and building camps, Scouts always need charitable donations to help them continue to make their mark on society. That’s why Michael Anthony Estate Agents in Aylesbury were delighted to get involved in a new group; 1st Berryfield.
Based out of the thriving area of Aylesbury that is welcoming new families from across the Vale to new properties, activities for younger people haven’t been forgotten. Michael Anthony has donated camping equipment including a large tent for the group to sleep under when expeditions are planned.
Senior Partner for Michael Anthony Estate Agents, Michael Donnachie, commented: “Being a Scout has benefited so many people, including me. By enriching their experiences and having fulfilling activities, they can take what they learn throughout their lives. Michael Anthony are thrilled to be involved with the group”.
