Michael Anthony’s Mike Donnachie says “I’m in” to being a Dragon.
On Tuesday, 27th November 2018, Metro Bank Aylesbury are looking forward to welcoming entrepreneurs of tomorrow through their doors for a Dragons Den style event.
Head of Business Studies at the John Colet School, Lee Adams & his business students will be presenting their ideas to local business leaders including Mike Donnachie, Senior Partner at Michael Anthony and Managing Director of Metro Bank, Iain Kirkpatrick. As part of their learning, the students are learning key terminology that they will be using in their business studies, to understand entrepreneurship in more depth and will help shape their expertise for their steps into commerce.
This will be a hotly contested evening, with the winning team on the night receiving a prize and the praise of the “Dragon’s” who will be listening intently. Mike Donnachie is certainly looking forward to the event: “I’m really looking forward to being a Dragon for the evening and I’m proud to have been asked. I’m sure there will be some great ideas and innovation which will spark debate and intrigue. I’m a big fan of the TV show and I’m hoping I’ll be saying “I’m in” to some of the pitches. It will also be good to meet many of the local business community as they too support these entrepreneurs of the future.”
Heather Wood, Local Director for Metro Bank, commented: “We’re really looking forward to an exciting and inspirational evening as we welcome the entrepreneurs of tomorrow to the Bank. Aylesbury has always had a superb reputation for cultivating invention, innovation and entrepreneurs, and we’re delighted to offer this platform to these students from John Colet. The future looks bright.”
