On Sunday, 9th September 2018, a team of walkers – Mark, Michael, Elaine and Liz – from Aylesbury’s Michael Anthony Estate Agents will be tackling the three Chilterns peaks of Whiteleaf Cross, Coombe Hill, and Ivinghoe Beacon – all on one day!
The busy team from Kingsbury Square will be swapping property instructions for their walking shoes to tackle the 11-mile route. As well as juggling the requirements of their clients, the team set targets for 2018 to help the local community further. Since their establishment in 1989, Michael Anthony has prided itself on being at the heart of the community, supporting residents and enabling those in need through events and fundraising.
The team are continuing their preparations to climb the hills and despite the size of the challenge, the team are very much looking forward to it, as Director, Mark Vosper outlines: “We’re delighted to be taking part and we’re busy stretching our hamstrings and bedding in our walking shoes for what will be a testing climb. However, it is all for a very good cause; Rennie Grove Hospice Care does a simply outstanding job in the local community.
“In providing care and support for adults and children diagnosed with cancer and other life-limiting illness and their families, their Hospice at Home service, Family Support services and the range of Day Services at Grove House they give thousands of patients a choice of care so they can be surrounded by the love and support of their family and friends. We’re all agreed, it’s a great cause.”
The team has a funding target of £875; please any donation would be greatly appreciated.
