Recently, Michael Donnachie, Senior Partner from Michael Anthony Estate Agents, took part in a tandem skydive in aid of Chilterns MS Centre, the Wendover-based charity for the business actively supports.
Michael joined 17 other jumpers at Hinton Sky Diving Centre, near Brackley and fell from 10,000ft. All the jumpers were taking the leap for charity; Mike’s choice was Chilterns MS Centre. This event was just one of a number Michael Anthony has been involved with to raise much-needed funds for the Wendover-based Centre. The money raised will help the charity fund services to people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS). Earlier this year, Michael Anthony headline sponsored the Pop- Up Art Weekend and also one of the team at the Aylesbury branch of the estate agent ran the gruelling London Marathon for the Centre.
Michael commented after landing back on terra-firma: “What an experience! I had always wanted to experience what it was like to jump out of a plane at 10,000 feet. Well, now I know! I’ve always wanted to jump out of a plane and now I can tick that off my bucket list. All the while, we’ve raised more valuable funds for Chilterns MS Centre.”
Gemma Hill, Communications Manager at the Chilterns MS Centre, said: “Well done Michael! Everyone at the Centre is delighted Michael chose to skydive for us. The support of local businesses, including Michael Anthony, is critical to the charity being able to continue offering treatment and support for free to anyone in the Chilterns affected by MS. The money raised by Michael will help fund essential services. Thank you for your ongoing support.”
