Why did you decide on this career path?

I’d been with Beaverbrooks for nearly 20 years and decided to have a change.  I knew the skills that I already had would transfer over.

What job did you do previously?

Store Manager for Beaverbrooks, the jeweller.

What’s the best part of your job?

Helping people to find their perfect home.

What’s the worst part of your job?

When a sale falls through.

What’s the funniest thing that’s ever happened to you as an estate agent?

When I went to the wrong house, very embarrassing but funny as well.

What are your day to day responsibilities?

How long have you got?  Communicating with the sales team, valuations, viewings, sales progression, marketing, following up previous clients.

What are the most important qualities to have in your job role?

Good communication, being honest, being motivated to make a difference, being competitive.

In your opinion, what is the culture of Michael Anthony Aylesbury?

A strong sense of teamwork and family values to do the right thing.

What is your favourite style of house?

Something with a view and a bit of character.  Also a 5 a side football pitch and swimming pool would be nice!!!

What is your favourite quote?

I have only seen this far because I have stood on the shoulders of giants.

What is the one achievement that you are the most proud of in your life?

My daughters Gracie and Scarlett.

When you have free time, what do you like to do?

Spend time with the family, running, playing and watching football, enjoying the countryside. Cooking. Seeing friends!!!

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would it be?

Diego Maradona
